Job description, responsibilities and duties
Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior in Lozorno is an important manufacturing plant that has started its operation in 2000 and became reliable supplier for customers in automotive industry. Currently employs around 750 employees.
As a plant engineer you will be responsible for successful implementation of serial changes to production, keeping requested quality, costs and timing. Your main tasks will be to:
• Support implementation of industrial projects to production plant
• Cooperate with project teams and define criteria for specific production equipment (assembly stations)
• Be responsible for new equipment validation into serial production
• Coordinate activities during implementation of new projects to production plant
• Be responsible for production layouts
• Lead productivity workshops (KAIZEN)
• Be responsible for production processes optimization together with other departments
• Coordinate activities of assembly process engineers and production documentation as work instructions, FMEA, flow charts, control plans
• Provide support for project teams to create work instructions based on the experience from production and based on the "best plant practices"
