Financial Manager

Supervision over accounting, tax, credit control and treasury activities of the company. Responsibility for the full accounting of the company, tax legislation fulfillments, internal controls and treasury (bank) activities.


• Supervision of the closing activities for Slovak GAAP (statutory) purposes.
• Responsibility for the statutory financial statements, annual report and statistical reporting.
• Internal and external audit cooperation and supervision.
• Responsibility for the implementation and control over the internal controls and processes.
• Cooperation with the parent company (Staropramen CZ) regarding the US GAAP financial statements and disclosures preparation relating to the company.
• Internal accounting and tax advisory for finance and business
• Direct cash flow management, responsibility for CF forecasting and accuracy
• Indirect CF budgeting and analyzing (working capital and balance sheet)
• Receivables and bad debt provisions reporting
• Cooperation with the bank and global treasury department
• Responsibility for the insurance if not globally agreed
• Strong cooperation with the parent company (Staropramen CZ) during the monthly, quarterly a year end closing and during the special/global projects (IT, consolidation and other)
• Responsibility for the taxes: tax returns (excise duty, CIT, VAT and other), communication with the tax and customs office
• Credit control (including credit limits) and credit collection agenda (including the early terminated supply rights/investments contracts)
• Ad hoc analyses based on the CFO or group requirements


• Cooperation with the tax advisor, external lawyer and other suppliers relating to the finance agenda
• Responsibility for the wages and salaries booking and payments, supervision of the wages and salaries agenda
• Responsibility for the fees package


• University degree in economics or related field
• Min. 3 years in managerial position in finances (experience from "Big 4" is advantage)
• Advanced English knowledge
• Slovak accounting legislation, basic tax knowledge, knowledge of corporate finance (CF, treasury, financing).
• US GAAP, SOX or IFRS knowledge is advantage
• SAP experience is an advantage
• leadership, strong communication skills, flexibility, problem solving, target oriented, organizational skills, ability to work under time pressure
