Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer with 3 - 5 years of experience covering strong Linux and networking skills, experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, database administration and cloud platform administration.

Candidate will be responsible for setup of continuous integration and deployment pipeline and for development, test and production environments for our cloud native applications running on Google and Amazon cloud platforms.

The suitable candidate will also be responsible for IT maintenance and support in the office including support of workstations, procurement of new hardware and software and configuration management of workstations in the Bratislava office.

    Language skills

    English - Upper intermediate (B2)

    Personality requirements and skills

  • Strong Unix shell scripting experience
  • 3 years experience managing AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure
  • Managed high traffic public facing applications

    Experience in :
  • Linux systems administration
  • Network configuration and administration
  • RDBMS administration - preferably MySQL with virtual machines
  • With continuous integration - preferably Jenkins with Git
  • Mysql performance and tuning

    Nice to have
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience troubleshooting operational issues
  • Understanding of web technologies and standards, understanding of REST API • Experience in access management
  • Experience in cloud administration
  • Security / PCI compliance experience
  • Experience with Chef or Puppet
  • Experience scaling nodes in AWS cluster
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and patterns with experience
