Head of Machinery Manufacturing

This role covers the manufacturing of the machines at Photoneo such as mobile robots, robotic cells, or other single-purpose machines. From a process point of view, the role covers procurement, warehouse management, assembly, configuration, supply chain, logistics, and quality control.
We are looking for an experienced manager with a high-level overview of all the above-mentioned areas. We need your help to establish common manufacturing processes, build up a productive team and guide people to excellence.

Duties and Tasks

Process management:
* Production and calibration tools maintenance and development
* Documenting of implemented processes and working instructions
* Technical supervising of assembly and calibration team
* Quality standards implementation for inbound and outbound quality inspection
* Returns and repairs
* Analysis and reports
* Product changes implementation process
* Approving Workflows in Jira
* Templates (PO, delivery notes, claim reports)

People management:
* Implementing a people-oriented management system
* Assigning SMART targets for team members
* Evaluation of the team
* Regular face to face meetings
* Motivation

Supplier management:
* Maintaining and building relationships with suppliers
* Technical support for suppliers
* Planning & Scheduling:
* Production (assembly, calibration, logistics)
* Working with the sales team on production scheduling and scaling

Supply Chain & Logistics:
* Shipping information (shipping date, documentation, tracking numbers,..)
* Customs - import and export
* Management of carriers

Accounting:
* Stock Management - components, products
* Inventory records (monthly) - stock movements and invoices

Product Overview:
* List of components for all devices
* History (users, claims, repairs,.. )
* Status (sold, rented, internal, on stock,...)
* Revisions and changes

Other:
* Cross department communication
* Escalation process
* Continues improvement
