We are on the lookout for a Global Support Leader to help us with implementing global processes and changing the expectations of our global support teams. An ideal candidate should be an individual able to help shape those processes, which requires knowledge of IT support and the global team's experience.

  • Provides direct leadership and indirect leadership through subordinate level managers - for two important function within the company – support and maintenance development.
  • Develops and executes strategies to achieve key business objectives in area(s) of responsibility which requires significant knowledge of the function, organization, and leadership and generally has deep expertise in most functional sub-specialties.
  • Lead a growing IT Support team for APAC and EMEA which help us better serve the needs of our global customers.
  • Has typical management responsibilities including hiring, performance management, and termination and has overall responsibility for the human capital of the function(s) within scope of responsibility.
  • Makes decisions on operational matters and ensures achievement of functional areas' objectives.
  • Responsible for resource allocation, including budget. Participates with other senior leaders to establish corporate strategy and objectives.
  • Responsible for the design of strategic plans and objectives for functional area(s).
  • Responsible for the resolution of complex strategic and/or customer issues, and may personally participate in the resolution of customer issues. Makes decisions on operational matters and ensures achievement of functional areas' objectives; generally discusses more complex, unusual issues with manager or the executive team. Decisions may have a significant impact on the organization's earnings, operation or public relations and a major impact on strategic plan or particular functions.
  • Regularly Interacts with executives and/or major customers at the C-level. ---Interactions frequently involve highly visible activities such as participating in the sales process, influencing or negotiating with customers, resolving customer issues and concerns, and representing the company to external parties.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

  • 5-10 years of experience leading IT support organizations
  • English C1 (strong English to speak to multiple countries)
  • Level 1 – Level 3 Application Support Experience
  • To Be Flexible in Working Hours and Traveling
  • Global Experience
  • Proven trouble shooting skills in both software and hardware
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in high pressure situations to C-Suite executives
  • Ability to break complex problems down into small parts for resolution
  • Balance of multiple requests simultaneously
  • Proven experience managing client escalations during high pressure outage situations
  • ITIL experience is a plus but not a must
