Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Software Engineer plays a vital role in the development and implementation of PDI’s SW solutions. The successful candidate will also help to assess customers’ needs, specify solutions and provide guidance and consulting during the implementation process. The position requires both strong communication and technical skill as well as an ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

- Develop and implement new software requirements and play an active role in the requirements definition
- Actively contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the existing software solutions
- Design and update software database
- Assist in testing of software products int to ensure adherence to agreed requirements
- Actively support the help desk team and own resolution of escalated incidents requiring the attention of the SW development team
- Present ideas for software improvements
- Work closely with project managers, sales team, and QA to optimize the software solution prior to client site deployments
- Produce detailed specification documents
- Assist in preparation of training manuals for users

- 3+ years’ experience working as a software developer
- Fluency (written and spoken) in English
- Proficiency Visual Basic 6 programming language required
- Preferred experience with some of the SW development areas below:
- Languages: T-SQL
- Development Methodology: Agile Development with SCRUM and KANBAN
