1 300 EUR/monthSalary is composed of 1200,00€ gross base tariff + 100,00€ gross monthly variable part. Overall salary depends on professional experience: it is further extended by weekend/bank holiday/night work incentives, loyalty program incentives and positive review mention incentive. The variable sum of 100€ gross monthly is based on attendance, willingness to support FO operations when needed, overall performance and fulfilling professional tasks. There is a possibility to work extra shifts, reflected in overtime incentives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Welcomes customers to the hotel
• Responds to customer requests
• Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing the communication log book each shift; updates log book for next shift
• Allocates rooms and issues appropriate keys
• Follows-up and verifies arrivals by updating registration cards in regards to spelling of guest’s name, address and method of payment
• Handles incoming guest room reservations
• Is aware, at all times, of current room status and room availability
• Increases hotel revenue by promoting food and beverage alternatives within the hotel
• Insures all guests establish credit upon check-in
• Monitors customer accounts to insure adherence to hotel credit limits
• Identifies and records special billing instructions and notifies accounting
• Completes shift closing accurately
• Demonstrates teamwork by co-operating and assisting colleagues as needed
• Handles difficult situations effectively
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, and effectively assists the hotel’s guests
• Uses the ABC approach to respond to negative comments and complaints; and notifies Front Office Manager immediately for appropriate follow-up
Requirements:
• Fluency in the English language, any additional language is an advantage, the Slovak language si a must as well
• Previous work experience in a hotel environment
• Is fully conversant with property management systems, knowledge of Opera is a strong advantage !
• Is able to operate switchboard, telefax, key equipment, credit card machines and printers, hotel alarm systems, and other Front Office equipment
• Willingness to work in shifts (night shifts only very occasionally)
