Adding Color to Life
Can you be our guests’ superhero? If you have a passion for Adding Color to Life , here at the Park Inn by Radisson, Bratislava we’re looking for superheroes just like you!
At the Park Inn by Radisson Danube Bratislava, we stand out together as one team and make memorable moments for our guests, because we are a hotel you can rely on!
A warm welcome, a happy smile, a positive attitude and a natural host. Our receptionists are the face of our hotels, and they know that our guests are number 1.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcomes customers to the hotel
• Responds to customer requests
• Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing the communication log book each shift; updates log book for next shift
• Allocates rooms and issues appropriate keys
• Follows-up and verifies arrivals by updating registration cards in regards to spelling of guest’s name, address and method of payment
• Handles incoming guest room reservations
• Is aware, at all times, of current room status and room availability
• Increases hotel revenue by promoting food and beverage alternatives within the hotel
• Insures all guests establish credit upon check-in
• Monitors customer accounts to insure adherence to hotel credit limits
• Identifies and records special billing instructions and notifies accounting
• Completes shift closing accurately
• Demonstrates teamwork by co-operating and assisting colleagues as needed
• Handles difficult situations effectively
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, and effectively assists the hotel’s guests
• Uses the ABC approach to respond to negative comments and complaints; and notifies Front Office Manager immediately for appropriate follow-up
Requirements:
• Fluency in English language, any additional language is an advantage
• Previous work experience in a hotel
• Is fully conversant with property management systems, knowledge of Opera is a strong advantage
• Is able to operate switchboard, telefax, key equipment, credit card machines and printers, hotel alarm systems, and other Front Office equipment
• Willingness to work in shifts (night shifts only very occasionally)
