It’s important that you are ambitious, able to work within a team, build an effective relationship with our outsourced accounting provider to ensure the numbers add up.

Key Responsibilities:

* in charge of the day-to-day activities in regards to Accounting and related processes
* insure accurate and timely submission of information to the external accounting company
* control and bank all hotel money
* ensure proper controls for cash handling
* reconcile and control the operation of the hotel’s bank accounts
* receive all supplier invoices , check for correctness, scan invoices and submit to external accounting
* assist in debt collection
* prepare list of month end accruals
* assist external accounting company with reconciliation of General Ledger
* assist General Manager with preparation of forecast and reporting
* assist in internal and external audits

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

An understanding of controls in a hotel environment, numerate with good Excel skills alongside 1-2 years of experience in accounting is a must.
