SW Tester/ QA (go/Python) - Žilina, Bratislava

It involves working on prototype projects, on something that no man has done before. Each and every task is a new challenge. We head to unknown lands and do not even know whether we’ll manage to find the right way. But once we do, with us you will reach the Silicon Valley.

* What will you be doing?
This depends on the depth of your skills – whether you’d join us as a junior or a senior. But definitely not only clicking buttons on websites. We’re looking for testers with programming skills and able to actively mess up applications, who can develop their own scripts for automated testing, who can analyze the logs and other system outputs to find the issue. The tester should be able to troubleshoot and triage the issues with multinational teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution. The other typical skills of the best tester, and we are looking only for the best, are:

• maintaining not only your own scripts for automated testing,
• documenting, tracking and escalating issues
• running system, integration and UI testing on multiple projects
• estimating the level of effort needed to test and complete a task
• creating and updating existing QA documentation
• working closely with development, project manager and the business to ensure project success
• working with peers both on and off site.

* Which skills do you need?
Linux administration for installing and configuring the tested software; Java, Python and Bash in order to enable you to read the product’s code and write automated tests.

• „Java, C, Go“ – read&understand
• Bash, Python, Robot Framework – write&use
• DevOps, CI/CD, Agile knowledge is a big plus

We utilize SCRUM and communicate with clients world-wide on daily basis. English is therefore a must.

* What do we expect from you?
We believe in small teams. It’s important to match your skills with the team’s needs. Your ability to learn quickly is important, we’re quite quick developers in demand of quick testing. Peeking at the code and seeing the bug should be among your basic skills.

Here is our salary ladder (gross):
SW Developer - 1000 € brutto + variable up to 500 € brutto, SW Engineer - 1300 € brutto + variable up to 700 € brutto, Senior SW Engineer - 1500 € brutto min. + variable up to 1500 € brutto

The salary range is given in EUR. The salary is divided into a fixed and variable part (the variable part is paid in full unless the Code of Conduct is broken or work tasks are not performed).
