Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Testing of software products based on analysis of design documents such as IETF drafts
  • Evaluation and interpretation of test results to enable fault localization in the code base.
  • Scripting for automatized tests using Python and Bash
  • Developing and maintaining build systems using continuous integration and custom testing tools.
  • Provisioning of VMs and integration of components in software defined networks.
  • Tracking, identifying and analyzing bugs
  • Cooperation within a team of analysts, programmers and project managers
  • Maintaining the quality of testing processes
  • Technical documentation for software products

Information about the selection process

The salary ranges depend on your knowledge or experience.

SW Developer in Test (junior): 1000 - 1300 €
SW Engineer in Test: 1500 - 2000 €
Senior SW Engineer in Test: 2000 - 2800 €

Salary ranges are gross. The salary is divided into fix and variable part (variable part is paid in full amount except breach of working discipline or insufficient performance of job duties).

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

• Bash - advanced
• experience with IXIA, FreeBSD, RedHat/centos - advantage
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Ability to code and script
• Ability to learn quickly and apply what you have learned
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Ability to write and implement test plans using automation tools
• A strong focus on business deliverables
• Comfort with collaboration and open communication
