Senior PHP software developer

The Slovak subsidiary Ozzylogik s.r.o. has global responsibility for sales, development, and production of high-tech equipment and software.

Due to the expansion of our office in Slovakia, we are looking for a Senior PHP software developer.

Technologies we use: PHP, Laravel, Python, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities:
- Software Development: The main task will be to develop high-quality software solutions. This may involve creating new applications, modules, functionality, and enhancing existing systems.
- Technical Guidance: As an experienced professional, you will contribute to knowledge-sharing with other team members, assist in solving complex technical issues, and contribute to the technical strategy of the company.
- Participation in Design: You will be involved in the architectural design of software products. You should be capable of designing an efficient and scalable system architecture.
- Performance Optimization: Senior developers should have experience in optimizing code and databases' performance (primarily MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL). You will need to search for and adapt solutions to improve application speed and efficiency.
- Testing and Debugging: Your work will include creating and running test scenarios (on separate test servers, of course) and debugging software to ensure its stability and compliance with the specified requirements.
- Collaboration with the Team: You will actively collaborate with other developers, testers, and team members to achieve common project goals.
- Exploration of New Technologies: As a Senior Software Developer, you should stay up-to-date with the latest trends and new technologies in the field of software development. Your ability to research and implement new tools and approaches will be highly valuable in our team's work.
- Code Review: You should be able to conduct code reviews and provide valuable feedback to your colleagues to improve code quality and performance.
- Team Development: Your experience and expertise should contribute to the growth and development of other team members, teaching them advanced development practices and sharing your knowledge.
- Meeting Deadlines: As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for meeting project deadlines and effectively planning your work. Deadlines are of utmost importance.

Requirements:
- Computer Science education
- PHP (Laravel)
- MongoDB, MySQL
- Elasticsearch
- Spoken and written English or Ukrainian or Russian

Will be a plus:
- Knowledges of Python, PostgreSQL

Working conditions:
- We offer you a gross monthly salary from 2000 eur to 4000 eur to the position
- Depending on specific qualifications and experience, overpayment is possible
- Full-time employment and flexible flextime model (8 a.m .- 5 p.m. or 9 a.m. - 6 p.m)
