Job description, responsibilities and duties
Tasks and responsibilities with global reach:
• Foster a strong ethics and compliance culture by actively promoting OSRAM’s compliance system. Act as main point of contact for compliance topics, and provide consistent and competent advice to management and employees.
• Manage compliance investigations, in particular conduct compliance interviews and review investigation materials. Perpare compliance investigation startegy and investigation reporting. Monitor remediation measures as outcome of a compliance investigation. Support HR and local management where needed to manage the implementation of disciplinary sanction.
• Ensure that relevant policies are effectively implemented and properly tailored in order to align with local laws. Conduct compliance risk assessments, identify gaps and remediate.
• Train management and employees on anti-corruption, code of conduct, antitrust, data privacy, export control and other compliance topics. Enhance and complement centrally provided training materials with relevant specifics, e.g., local legislation and jurisdiction, third parties, risks in focus markets, etc.
• Stay current on any changes to regional / local compliance laws and regulations.
• Guide the efficiency and effectiveness of OSRAM’s compliance system. Perform reviews on the effectiveness of the compliance system and ensure that all necessary compliance documentation is complete and up-to-date.
• Manage third party due diligence and M&A due diligence, as appropriate, and provide strategic and tactical support to employees regarding compliance-related risks

Personality requirements and skills
- Minimum 2 years professional work experience, including in the area of compliance. Experience as external / in-house legal advisor with a focus on compliance, data privacy and/or regulatory laws is preferred.
- Ability to manage national / international projects
- Assertive leader and strategic thinker who exhibits a high level of trust and integrity
- Intercultural experience preferably gained abroad is a plus.
