Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Ensuring export control compliance in the operational business as well as involvement in conceptual design, implementation and further development
- Export licence management according to EU law (application, quantity write-off, fulfilment of conditions), system-supported (AEB) export releases after embargo or sanctions list checks
- Application and processing of US licences
- Classification of products according to EU and US law
- Independent and comprehensive advice and legal evaluation of export control law requests from employees, customers and authorities for semiconductor products
- Participation in the conception, implementation of all necessary measures of the ams OSRAM Internal Control Program Export Control (ICP)
- Collaboration on projects in the specialist area, e.g. implementation of legal changes, implementation of foreign trade processes and tools
- Preparation and support of foreign trade audits, procurement of relevant data, cooperation in clarification. Collaboration in reporting to the person responsible for exports
- Conducting internal training and audits (risk analysis, spot checks, etc.)

- Education in in the field of economics, computer science or engineering
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the field of export control of an internationally active company and proven expertise in export control law (export control specialist or comparable qualification)
- Experience in the international supply chain and in the integration of export control applications.
- Confident acting in an international and intercultural environment
- SAP knowledge
- MS office
