Orange International Networks Infrastructures & Services (OINIS) is a technical department serving the Group on an international scale. The mission of OINIS is to design, plan, deploy and operate international and long-distance networks (backbone). Within this department, the Content Delivery Network (CDN) department is responsible for monitoring, design, development, and validation of different CDN technologies, platforms, infrastructures, and services.
About the role:
Following a recent partnership signed with a new CDN provider, the architecture and engineering of our Orange Wholesale CDN services is evolving. Our new CDN partner ‘s solution works in CI/CD and also SaaS mode. We must therefore ensure the proper implementation of these new functionalities, as well as the maintenance of previous functionalities, through an adequate qualification process.
Several environments are being deployed:
- Production environment
- Pre-production environment
- Performance environment
- A qualification methodology must be implemented.
- The main missions of this job will therefore consist of:
- Defining/scoping the test environment: test suites, methodology, tools, architecture of the test network, automation process, publication of results, etc.
- Test conducting
The CDN Software and hardware integrator is in contact with:
- CDN Partner’s engineering and operational teams to discuss qualification frameworks, tooling for testing, potential bugs and to draft and follow up SW & HW qualification requests.
- Colleagues within the CDN engineering teams to discuss product features and how to implement the corresponding tests.
- CDN Operational teams to discuss the deployment of test tools and test servers in the production environment.

Personality requirements and skills
- Proficiency in testing and automation methodologies.
- Familiarity with CDN services is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of fundamental IP network concepts, including IP/routing and DNS.
- 8 years of experience in network and data environments
- Focus on software and hardware integration, would be a significant advantage.
- In addition to technical expertise, soft skills like organization, leadership, and communication are essential for success in this role.
- Effective ability to give and receive feedback.
- Strong sense of autonomy in managing tasks and responsibilities
