Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Technical Design Team Consultant is part of the sales operations department. The job offers a mix of technical, administrative and commercial activities. The result of these activities should be a cost effective and operationally sound solution, which meets the customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

Technical design and validation of quotes and orders for managed network and voice services.
Act as the technical lead during the project implementation of new customer services.
Provide full technical details as required for the services that are being ordered.
Propose alternative solutions to resolve problems and service availability issues.
Cooperation with the customer technical contact and internal sales teams.
The activities are related to projects (e.g. new customers), or to organic growth of existing services.

University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Good understanding of network technology like routers, switches and cabling.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, MPLS, Remote Access protocols and Subnetting.
Good comprehension of Messaging, Voice/IP Telephony, Cloud and Security services.
Understanding of Service Delivery processes and organization.
Business and/or commercial acumen in dealing with large customer organizations.
Cisco certification (knowledge on CCNA level required) and experience in an international telecom carrier environment is a plus.
Higher technical education.
Fluent level of English language and great communication skills.
Time management skills and able to balance multiple projects & tasks.
Project Management expertise is desirable.
