Solution Architect

• Part of an international team supporting customers based in Europe to propose Network and Security solutions.
• Working with the newest technologies, wide range of customers and having overview of the network solutions.
• Representing second level presales team in its contribution to the overall presales process and organization put in place to win the bid.
• Validating the solution, coordinating actions internally and externally to ensure all the solution components are implementable and operable from an engineering, delivery, operations, IT and process standpoint.
• Occasional participation in customer meetings to present and defend the solution from a technical and operational standpoint in support of and as requested by the bid team.
• Conveying the company technical strategy along the bid process, engaging with marketing teams when appropriate to review strategy and solution positioning.
• May be involved in both customer specific development as well as more general product development activities.

• Minimum of 7 years in Telco/ICT industry, particularly experienced in design and architecture of telecommunications solutions. Pre-Sales support experience and experience with coordination of teams to ensure successful bid is desired.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and standards in SDN, Routing, Switching, Network security, Network management & monitoring: LAN, WLAN, L2 VPN (VPLS/VPWS), WAN and Network based Security.
• Fundamental knowledge on SD-WAN / NFV/ SDN: Understanding of SD-WAN technology concepts and principles.
• Good overview of well-recognized vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HP/Aruba, Fortinet, Riverbed, and hands-on experience on at least one of those Vendors (Cisco mandatory).
• Certification or knowledge on the level of CCNA/CCDA – CCNP/CCDP is desired.
• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer science or equivalent.
• Fluent level of English; French would be considered as a plus.
