Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will join the ORAC finance team. You report to the finance manager and work closely with your fellow accountants. Together you form a team that takes ORAC to the next level. Because of the international character of ORAC, we can offer you tailor-made challenges. 

What will you do?

• you ensure compliance in accounting through the timely update of our procedures
• you understand and oversee all day-to-day accounting tasks. In the absence of a colleague, you ensure a good follow-up. Together, you are responsible for the timely monthly closing. 
• you prepare all declarations: VAT, intra-community and intrastat returns
• you will monitor and improve our new electronic accounts payable tool. You are in close contact with suppliers and internal customers.
• you are responsible for the follow-up of the entire asset module.

In addition, your range of tasks will be supplemented according to your fields of interest and strengths; possible responsibilities may include; credit and collection tool management, treasury optimization, VAT point of contact, financial controlling and/or reporting, IFRS consolidation, annual budget processes, transfer pricing,... Very often, the focus here is on project work.
