Junior / Mid-Senior Software Developer (m/f)

We are looking for a gifted software developer to join our team. You will be delivering sustainable and scalable software solutions for Optotune’s desktop and cloud applications. You will play an important role in a team participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities:
• Developing software specifications based on stakeholder inputs
• Software development
• Testing, documentation and release of finished products
• Providing continuous support to existing software products
• Reporting project progress in review meetings

We require:
• Industry experience in application development in C# or Java using established architectural concepts and design patterns. Experience in Python is an asset.
• An understanding in microservice architectures and orchestration using REST/messaging patterns is an asset.
• Experience in SQL or NoSQL based database systems such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles such as unit and integration testing.
• Understanding of UX and UI concepts as well as user-centered design is an asset.
• Knowledge in data processing and analysis is an asset.
• Basic knowledge in hardware-near programming and communication protocols is an asset.
• Experience with continuous integration is an asset
• Desire to challenge conventional thinking.
• Excellent knowledge of English (Advanced), German would be considered an advantage.
