Key Required Skills:
• 8+ years’ experience in creating web applications
• 8+ years’ experience in at least one high-level object-oriented programming language, e.g. Java, C# or C++
• Expertise in frontend development using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• A keen willingness to learn and try new things
• Sense of curiosity to explore new software technologies & desire to grow technically
• Ability to work in team environment
Desirable, but not essential:
• 1-2 years’ experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, test-driven development, revision control, JIRA/Confluence etc.
• Experience with, or understanding of, containerization and surrounding technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Familiar with UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) development is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronics; knowledge of power electronics is an extra bonus
• Mathematical modeling and numerical techniques
• Ability to mentor others, especially those who are not from software background
• Maturity to understand business needs and translate them into software tools
• Strong understand of modern software design theory
• Knowledge and experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL DB
• Ability to measure and utilize web analytics
• 8+ years’ experience in creating web applications
