Would you like to join an Advanced Tech Partner of AWS, a company which is moving to a serverless-first microservices architecture, using the latest cloud tech on the market?
Even better, a company who does all that, but which is not your “everyday kind of business”, but a place where you can truly innovate and make a real change?
BRIEFING
You will join Ohpen during an interesting phase, where you will build and maintain a huge platform with a diverse landscape: REST apis, event-driven services, Batch processing in Fargate, … You name it!
Your new team is stacked with knowledge and experience, with an open-door policy and the will to do things right. It’s not about working hard, but working smart.
That team is the Platform Services team, which builds a self-service environment for the application development teams at Ohpen. Here, you will work closely with the dev-teams and be assigned to one or more platform products that you will develop and support.
Examples of such platform products are: IaC templates, observability and monitoring in DataDog, serverless and containerization, CI/CD in GitHub, etc. As a member of Platform Services you will be an advocate to the DevOps way of working and mentor developers, IT-Ops, QA and junior engineers.
Ohpen delivers cloud-native software solutions for financial institutions. With offices in Slovakia, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain we help financial institutions get rid of their legacy. With a strong team we share the same objective; provide our customers with the highest possible quality out there.
ABOUT YOU
• You have a few years’ experience with DevOps teams.
• You have experience implementing automation tooling that support the DevOps way of working.
• You are comfortable with the AWS stack, IaC concepts, networking, monitoring, CI/CD and building elastic and scalable infrastructure.
• You are comfortable with at least 1 development programming language , and you know how to script (we use Python, Powershell, C#/.Net, Java)
• You love docker (dockerfiles, docker-compose, …) and have experience containerizing applications in any language.
