Then you probably already know how we were the first core-banking engine in the world to go cloud native, and that we were named one of the hottest startups in Amsterdam by Wired Magazine?

What you might not know is that we recently acquired the company Davinci, which embarked us on our new mission: scaling up our tech offices in Bratislava and Žilina. This means we’ve got a lot of recruitment to do, and it’s one of the reasons why you’re reading this ad.

The other reason might be that you’re done with rigid corporate hierarchies or agency environments or micromanagement, and you want to have a real impact somewhere. You want to have ownership of your work, manage your own time and have the freedom to create.

You will be key to our success. Achieving our expansion goals depend on us finding and attracting the right people in a timely matter, and that’s where you come in.

We will entrust recruitment matters in Slovakia to you, but you won’t be alone; you will have support from your two fellow Recruiters, as well as your five HR teammates, most of whom you will meet during your interviews and who are distributed across Amsterdam, Antwerp, Barcelona and Bratislava.

The majority of your hires will be technical, and although we are growing fast, recruitment at Ohpen is not about mass hiring, but all about quality. This means your searches will be as tough as they will be rewarding.

Personality requirements and skills

You are a technical recruiter, and if you already hired Java Developers or AWS DevOps Engineers, then your network will give you a day one advantage;
You ideally graduated with at least a Bachelor’s degree, but your experience and attitude are the important bits;
You are result oriented, and you know how important it is to deliver on your word;
You can source; you know all about sourcing methods and you know LinkedIn and Profesia aren’t the only sources for talent;
You speak both English and Slovak;
You are fun to work with. :)

Our hiring goals in Bratislava and Žilina are ambitious, so you will have a lot of work to do;
We are still maturing our recruitment processes so we need your ideas as much as we need your hires;
We only employ the brightest and sharpest engineers. Your search won’t be easy;
Proactively engaging with candidates needs to be a primary instinct.
