Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are a Polish provider of logistics services, which has been operating in the European market since 1990. Whether the services are contract logistics, deliveries to chain stores, road transport services or Value Added Services - we always render them with the utmost care. Our dedicated, highly qualified and versatile team of both experts and young innovators is our greatest asset.
Due to opening of new position in our Bratislava office we had decided to hire:
Transportation Manager
Responsibilities:
• Full responsibility for Slovakia transportation activity
• Daily operational management
• Motivation and guidance of the team
• Performance management, KPI analysis
• Development and implementation of annual business strategy
• Contract and service negotiations with subcontractors and partners
• Key Account Management
• Close cooperation with the international sales and operational teams and participation in cross-country tenders
• Tender management in the Slovakia market
• Close cooperation with the international team as well as the Slovakia departments
Requirements:
• College or university degree in Economics, Logistics, or similar field
• Minimum 5 years proven track record in similar role with at least 2 years as people’s leader
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the Slovakia and CEE transportation and logistics market and regulations
• Experience in the field of transportation, logistics and supply chain
• Existing, active business network
• Excellent MS office and presentation skills
• Proactivity and team player mentality
• English on business negotiation level
