DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (M/F)
FOCUS MS SQL
YOUR JOB:
– Design, implementation and administration of MS SQL databases including 2nd level support
– Monitoring database performance and implementing required optimizations
– Development of virtual SQL-clusters
– Close cooperation with database developers and SAN-administrators
– Responsibility for backup, restore and security concepts
– (Sub-)project management of cross-functional projects

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
– University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
– Proven working experience as a Database administrator (3 years minimum)
– Advanced knowledge of databases, specifically highly available MS SQL databases
– Good knowledge of Windows server
– High awareness of service, quality and responsibility
– Ability to work independently as well as a high level of commitment including willingness to undertake shift work and on-call duty
– Team-oriented, good communication skills and hands-on mentality
– Advanced German language skills are mandatory
