Technical writer & Pre-sales Engineer (networking)

We are a growing Slovakian software company developing our own network automation and management software suite (https://unimus.net). We have over 2300 deployments of our software stack world-wide, running everywhere from small local networks to regional ISPs, data-centers and national-scale telcos/carriers. We are currently working on expanding our platform, and are building multiple new software products scheduled for release this / next year.

We are looking for someone who:
- comes from a networking background
- loves network automation and monitoring
- likes learning and finding creative solutions to challenging problems
- can write technical articles and talk to technical customers

Your typical work-day will consist of one (or all) of 3 activities:
1. researching and writing technical articles (blog and/or Wiki articles)
2. talking to customers, or creating architecture docs for customers
3. representing our company at a booth at conferences

To be more precise, the job responsibilities consist of:
- writing technical blog articles & guides for our Blog
- writing technical documentation (Wiki articles)
- pre-sales tech demo calls and tech Q&A sessions with customers
- creating sizing and architecture recommendation documents for customers
- attend networking & telco conferences as a company representative

This is a very technical role, as all our customers are either network or system administrators, and all the content we produce is quite technical. Technical Requirements:
- 3+ years of past networking experience
- Deep understanding of router / switch configuration
- Comfortable with configuring network devices using CLI
- Understanding of ISO / OSI model
- Deep Linux knowledge and Bash scripting abilities
- fluent English (technical acumen) - C1 level
