Java developer with Networking background

We are a growing Slovakian software company developing our own network automation and management software suite (https://unimus.net). We have over 2000 deployments of our software stack world-wide, running everywhere from small local networks to regional ISPs, data-centers and national-scale telcos/carriers. We are currently working on expanding our software-suite, and are building multiple new software products scheduled for release next year.

Who is this job for:
The role is ideal for a someone who wants to utilize their past networking experience in software development.

Your job will be to implement support for new networking devices inside of our product and continue the development of our product`s feature set. This is a software developer role, but you will need networking background since our product focuses on managing networking equipment.

Development requirements:
- 3+ years of work experience in Java development - Java/JEE/Spring solutions
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles (Maven/Gradle, Bamboo/TeamCity/Jenkins)
- Experience with test-driven development in Java
- Understanding of application design - Design Patterns and/or Architectural Blueprints
- Efficient coding, awareness of patterns and anti-patterns and properly structured code
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) processes
- Motivated to learn new technologies

Networking requirements:
- 3+ years of past networking experience
- Deep understanding of router / switch configuration
- Comfortable with configuring network devices using CLI
- Understanding of ISO / OSI model
