Position Summary and objective:

We are looking for a technically competent leader capable of building and continuously nurturing engineering teams that deliver high quality software products to their customers.

As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for setup and governance of engineering processes throughout the whole software development lifecycle with an aim to establish and maintain a culture of engineering excellence.

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Software Engineering as individual contributor & at engineering leadership level
• Strong technical background in software product development
• Proven experience in managing software engineering teams
• Creative, tenacious problem solving with a get-it-done attitude
• Very strong communication and relationship management skills in multi-cultural environment
• Proficiency in Agile SW development methodologies
• Proficiency in cloud technologies – AWS, MS Azure, GCP
• Very good in cross-team communication, consistent and results driven

Typical daily responsibilities:

• Lead the team throughout the whole software engineering Lifecycle
• Hold team members accountable for complete technical solution and contribute with cross-team perspective
• Ensure team is highly performant with no outstanding impediments
• Identify areas of deficiency and technical debt
• Drive progress, always try to improve technical aspects of product
• Ensure code is well designed, optimal and maintainable
• Understand priorities of tasks and make sure team is delivering highest priority work
• Keeps team focused to deliver highest quality results
• Act as the single point of escalation for customers, onsite engagement managers and sales
• Work with the tech leaders, architects & managers to identify potential risks & work on mitigation plans
• Actively promote can-do attitude, technical growth, innovations, company culture, knowledge sharing to colleagues and partners
• Work closely with Sales to explore and support further business opportunities
• Work with Program Management Office to ensure implementation of process improvements and execution of corporate campaigns
