· Creating maps by balancing on-staff map experts with 80,000 external sources.
· Keeping the maps fresh, accurate, and reliable by making 2.7 million changes to them each day.
★JOB DETAILS :
In this role, the successful candidate will be participating in all stages of the software development life-cycle in an Agile environment. Interact with product management to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications, assist with systems integration, and ensure successful development and deployment of key components of products.
★Task description :
• develop and maintain python/java based pipeline
• leverage distributed cloud computing platform and infrastructures (i.e. AWS) to build highly scalable application to process Pb sized data
• big data ETL and orchestration
• Knowledge and practice of engineering excellence such as good design abstractions, API stability, unit testing, and solid documentation
★ Technical skills:
• Proficient Python and Java programming skills
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud technologies ( AWS ECS and ECR, Elastic beanstalk, Lambda, S3, RDS, Cloudwatch)
• Hands-on experience with Apache spark/Hadoop eco-system; experience with AWS EMR is a plus
• Linux, and Linux based scripting.
• Docker and ci/cd tools like GIT, gitlab, Jenkins; experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Knowledge and practice of engineering excellence such as good design abstractions, API stability, unit testing, and solid documentation
• Experience with AI/ML is a plus
• Experience with geospatial data is a plus
