Job description, responsibilities and duties
PERFORM creates and distributes sports content that millions of fans around the world interact with every day.
PERFORM’s global content collection, production and distribution capabilities alongside industry leading digital products are unrivalled in the market and enable PERFORM to generate revenues through licensing, advertising and subscription.
Every year PERFORM produces and distributes over 43,000 live events, 4.7bn video on demand streams, 430,000 editorial articles and up to 1,600 data points for over 30,000 events across over 2,600 distribution clients.
Our direct to consumer products reach over 65m sports fans every month and includes Goal, the world’s largest football website, whilst ePlayer, the world’s largest sports video platform reaches a further 120m fans per month making PERFORM the largest digital sports advertising network.

Job purpose :
To ensure scrum values and practices are followed, protected and maintained by PERFORM teams.
Responsibilities :
• Work with Product Owner to prepare scrum backlog
• Ensure team & product owner work together in Scrum framework following all rules
• Organise and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning meetings, daily scrums, demo's and retrospectives)
• Follow PERFORM process for scrum and reporting
• Monitor and communicate team velocity and release progress
• To Identify any project/team blockers or issues are removed and escalated if needed
• Track the progress of the Sprint on a daily basis in order to be able to take proactive measures ahead of time where required to help the team to achieve the given commitment
• Be an active part of the Scrum Master community within PERFORM and participate in continuous improvement within this discipline
• Ensure the team are being as effective and productive as they can, by protecting them from external distractions and actively removing impediments to their progression
• Liaise with other Scrum teams and external teams to address and resolve cross team issues, conflicts and dependencies
• Understanding of Agile & Lean principles
