Job description, responsibilities and duties
About the role:
As an IT Analyst, you will be part of the team developing the medical software for doctors
You will closely collaborate with Software Developers and report to our Product Manager
You will be responsible for functional gap analyses between our medical software and legislative requirements
You will document and analyze new requirements, features and integrations with 3rd party services and products (National Health Information Center, External Device, Laboratories, Insurance Companies)
You will have an opportunity to work on and develop skills in not just as an Analyst, but in every aspect of building an early-stage digital product
Core tasks:
Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements
Document and analyze functional specifications of National Health Information Center services, laboratory services, and insurance companies services
Identify gaps between legislative requirements and current status of our medical software
Monitor and analyze the market, including competitors, worldwide industry leaders, trends
Design efficient process and solution specifications based on the business, technology and regulatory needs
Support developers to build and implement best performing, quality technology solutions according to your finding and specifications
Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to ensure the end results correspond to the specifications

Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills
Master in technical documentation - You have 2+ years of experience in creating analytical materials (diagrams, specifications) as an input for software developers. You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Knowledge of UML/UML diagrams (Use Case, Activity, Sequence, Component, Composite, Class). Experience in computer programming is an advantage. Willingness to communicate with customers and external service providers/devices is important. Knowledge of Slovak health care and health legislation is an advantage.
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset - Proactivity and can-do attitude are musts. You will be required to help us not only to answer questions but to determine what is the right question to ask in the first place. Speed and quality are required at the same time. Building stuff in a responsible and sustainable way is expected, so is the willingness to get your hands dirty and put in extra hours when needed.
Solid collaborator - You must be driven to make the team stronger. You believe in receiving and giving constructive feedback and can explain yourself well. You are comfortable collaborating with others to resolve difficult problems, by inputs based on data, facts, and detail.
Working knowledge of English is a must.
