About the role

- As the very first finance person at the company, you’ll be responsible for building out finance and accounting related processes from scratch.
- You’ll interact with internal stakeholders (management, sales team, other employees) and external stakeholders (external accountants currently doing our books, representatives of our investors)
- You’ll report to the General Manager

Core tasks

As the very first finance person at the company, you’ll be responsible for building out finance and accounting related processes from scratch.

This will involve
- Taking over accounting from an external vendor and setting up invoicing capabilities
- Recording and paying out invoices, reporting and reimbursing employee expenses
- Preparing regular financial reports for internal and external purposes
- Preparing a dashboard for monitoring the financial KPIs of the company
- Helping us to choose the right digital tools for invoice processing and expense management, and setting up all related processes
- Setting up budgeting and controlling processes

You’ll take on office management responsibilities as well, including:
- Managing, monitoring, and ordering office supplies
- Handling related paperwork
- Coordinating office related initiatives (e.g. events, maintenance, etc)
- Dealing with suppliers and vendors

2+ years of work experience in accounting and finance
Excellent knowledge of local accounting rules and IFRS
In depth understanding of how accounting processes of a small company should look like, ranging from invoices, money flows, tax reporting, managerial reporting, etc.
Solid communication skills
Attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills required
Experience with modern, digital accounting tools
Work experience in an international environment is a plus
