Network Project Manager (full remote)

The Network project manager is part of the broader Network transformation and a key member of the Network Services team that will manage the transformation of the existing network perimeter and work with the chosen Network supplier.Project Manager will work with Network Engineers to define the policies required for the initial configuration of the cloud network solution, to define the hardware and software required to be provisioned at local sites where a cloud solution is not possible. This person will also work with the Network supplier to deliver the initial deployment of the cloud based network solution.

Responsibilities:
• Establishing project/programmes and development of project/programme charter.
• Commission of project & mobilising project team. Creating detailed programme/project plan and assigning project resources.
• Managing day-to-day execution of programme/project. Managing delivery of agreed work products ensuring delivery to time, scope, cost & quality.
• Risk and issue management. Analystics of overall performance of the project/programme and initiating mitigating actions where required.
• Executing project/programme close-down. Creating final report (including lessons learned)
• Managing transition plan into Operations

Requirements:
• At least 4 year's experience of managing IT projects in Network Services.
• Global network projects - experience of working with global stakeholders and implementing services on a global basis
• Managing network service providers and/or service integrators
• One of PMI, PMP or PRINCE project management qualifications is an advantage
