Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Network Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing regular reports on Lync/S4B Services.
- Production of regular internal and customer reports
- Daily inspection of the health of the Lync Service (Lync Monitoring dashboard, Top failures, Powersuite, Riverbed Opnet and more)
- Carrying out the initial basic analysis of any issues and instigating further investigation or remediation action
- Acting as a help/query (internal/customer) desk to key tools such as PowerSuite

Personality requirements and skills
- A general understanding of all levels of the 7-layer OSI model (Network to Application) and how each layer interacts with each other; knowledge of how it is implemented as industry standards/by major manufacturers
- Basic understanding of networking, subnets and the Lync/Skype for Business service
- Knowledge of tooling (applications), especially the network monitoring tooling such as Lync Monitoring, Powersuite and Riverbed Opnet is welcome but not required as will be trained
- Methodical, sense of curiosity, able to network into other teams, able to spot trends to and report to Service Managers
- Excellent with Excel, database capability is an advantage
