Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Network Security Engineer is responsible for advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of issues and ensuring correct implementation of complex changes and projects.
Duties:
- Provide guidance and advanced support to other teams responsible for Service Assurance
- Support other teams during incidents and change implementations on various security appliances and tools.
- RCA and leading resolution calls with other teams and vendors
- Offer support form the architecture perspective
- Act as a consultant for the other teams
- Participation on RFS reviews and guidance of technical teams when planning implementations
Requirements:
- Advance experience with Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco firepower of other firewall vendors
- CCNA/CCNP Certification or equivalent experience
- Willingness to learn
- Adaptable mindset
