Job description, responsibilities and duties

To extend our team of consultants, we are searching for motivated engineers to support end users.
The IT Deskside Support Engineer role is to provide 2nd level support for end users within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to PC, printers and scanners) to ensure optimal workstation performance. The
person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

· Experience in Help Desk services / End User Support services
· Excellent technical knowledge of PCs hardware
· Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards
· Ability to operate tools, components and peripheral accessories
· Software and Hardware Troubleshooting
· Routers, switches and firewall experience
· Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows ACL's
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Experience working within enterprise ticket systems
· ITIL Foundation Certificate would be nice to have
· Familiar with smartphones and tablets with iOS, Android and Windows
