Job description, responsibilities and duties

For a NATEK for a new challenging international project for our customer, which is one of the leading and biggest IT and telecom companies, we are looking for suitable candidates that will joint NATEK’s experienced international team of an SAP basis specialists. You will provide enterprise-level assistance to our international customers. You will work in a highly professional environment that support original thinking, rewards initiative and recognizes outstanding performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering ongoing remote-based functional support and guidance in a complex mission critical SAP environment
• Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of SAP applications
• Manage, searching, diagnosing, troubleshooting directly customer’s SAP environment
• Work on a daily basis with customers to understand their needs, support business change
• Deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience
• Collaborate with international team members in a virtual team environment
• Be involved in development and deployment phases of the projects

Key Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of SAP basis administration as system installations, upgrades
• Experience with system migrations, back-up/recovery, performance tuning, system monitoring
• Functional experience, integration knowledge
• Infrastructure and networking expertise and skills to diagnose issues
• Develop, test, package and deliver fixes for such issues in complex, integrated and highly-configured environments
• Substantial IT experience
• Understanding of system operating environments and database management
• Understanding and knowledge of one or several of the following SAP products:
• R/3, BW/BO, SCM, Live Cache, CRM, SRM, PI/XI, MDM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, SAP HANA
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
• Proactivity to identify potential problems in customer’s SAP environment
• Team player able to collaborate with colleagues and senior IT Managers
• Presentation, communication and conflict management
• Strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness
• Systematic, communicative and creative focus
• SAP-certified technology consultant is advantage
• Experience with global implementations would be an advantage

Must have experience with:

• You have minimum 3 years relevant SAP experience particularly with Basis, Middleware and Enterprise Portal Administration/2JEE/ABAP
• You have minimum 3 years experience with System Administration, User Administration, Content Administration
• Working knowledge of multiple databases (Oracle, MSQSL, Max DB, DB2, HANA etc.)
• Working knowledge of multiple operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows etc.)
• A track record of successful roles in several SAP implementation or upgrade projects
• Working knowledge and understanding of supporting business processes
• Analytical, logical problem resolution skills
• Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture
• A degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, IT or software engineering
• Fluent in German, other languages (e.g. English) may be an advantage

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards
