Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an energetic Software Quality Assurance Engineer to work for a paced, creative development team of our international client, within more than 600 employees located in development centers in the U.S., Europe, India and Malaysia. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a team of Software Quality Assurance Engineers, Program and Product Managers/Owners, Software Engineers, Business Systems Analysts, and SCRUM masters.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and/or executing manual and automation test cases for a variety of business applications
- Preparing test data to support test plans
- Working with the rest of the QA team to ensure resolution of potential code defects and user acceptance
- Developing procedures that increase the quality andeffectiveness of testing
- Functional, regression and integration testing

- Knowledge of running and creating of automation test scripts (minimally 1yr experience)
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Familiar with web technologies, active user of various online services, knowledgeable of trends and news (e.g. REST API)
- Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Basic programming knowledge (Java, C# etc.) is a plus
- Experience with Windows operating system; Linux is a plus
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member to handle complex projects
- English language on communicative level (Czech not needed)
Additional Experience is a Plus (not required):
- Mercury / HP Quality Center /Jira
- Mobile testing
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
