Job description, responsibilities and duties

Sharepoint developer:
• Creates and maintains custom applications on the Sharepoint Online/Office 365 environment
• Evaluates and implements requests for custom code based solutions in the Sharepoint platform
• Works with product architects to create Sharepoint Apps, Theme and Branding solutions, Workflow solutions, JavaScript and .Net code to support customizations
• Works with platform leads on PowerShell automation and scripting
• Keep abreast with new tools and technologies as well as other advancements made in the Office 365 space.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years progressively responsible information technology experience with at least 2 years of experience in Sharepoint on premise or Sharepoint Online
• Experience implementing .Net/MVC (Or Node.js/Angular.js) and JavaScript client libraries based solutions
• Should be able to develop .Net/MVC based solutions using Visual Studio
• Should have a clear understanding of modern JavaScript practices using jQuery, CSS3 and other web design modules
• Should be familiar with the Sharepoint App model for developing custom apps
• Should have exposure/basic understanding of working in Cloud hosted environments like Azure or AWS.
• Should be familiar to code development and deployment scenarios using source control such as GIT or Visual Studio Online
• Experience with Advanced Sharepoint Online customizations including Branding, Metadata, Navigation, jslink, CQWP, Designer Workflows, JavaScript and Node.js based App frameworks
• Web design background with good understanding of web design principles, HTML, JavaScript, css, JQuery, bootstrap is essential to the role.
• Knowledge of using PowerShell scripting is handy and preferable.
• Microsoft certification (MCSE) is preferable
