BACKGROUND
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Since the founding in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 22 million people meet their affordable housing needs in more than 70 countries.
Habitat for Humanity International has been present in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) for decades- having national offices and partnerships in more than 10 countries. The Area Office (AO) for Europe and Middle East (EME) is based in Bratislava, Slovakia.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CONSULTANCY
The objective of this consultancy is to offer a recruitment and selection service that matches HFHI staffing needs. HFHI is looking to contract a Recruiting firm or professional recruiter/head-hunter to support in identification of candidates for current positions in the program structure.
The Consultant is expected to facilitate the delivery of fast and effective recruitment and selection of candidates to fill the open positions for the EME Roster of external consultants from their pool of candidates or through an active advertising process- navigating their network for potential candidates and hires for HFHI.
It is imperative that the end-to-end recruitment process consistently demonstrates Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) best practices and HFHI values: humility, courage, and accountability.

This is a remote consultancy, with the preference for location to be Bratislava, or a country of CEE region.

SCOPE OF THE CONSULTANCY
The consultant will work closely with the EME Human Resource (HR) Manager and HR Specialist. Its role will be that of an outsourcing agency and provide services as and when required by HFHI office.
For the period of the contract, the consultant will be responsible for providing services as outlined below.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSULTANT
The Consultant shall create a pool of the consultants to cooperate with HFHI as per business needs

Key Tasks
- Work closely with EME HR Manager, HR Specialist and Hiring Managers understand the skills, competencies, qualifications, and critical success factors required for each vacancy and to review candidate documents, CV and application.
- Employ the most appropriate, dynamic, and engaging channels to attract and motivate talent throughout the recruitment process. The Consultant will identify candidate priorities and aspirations and in turn communicate HFHIs’ employment value proposition in the best possible way.
- Support the selection process by applying appropriate methodology of candidate screening, testing, personality profiling and interviewing to assess applicants’ qualifications, experience, motivation, and personal traits to ensure best possible match.

REPORTING LINE
It is expected that the consultant will be working up to 40 hours per week. The consultant will be paid on a monthly basis, at a negotiated Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) rate .
The consultant will report to EME HR Manager and will work closely with the EME Program department.

EFFORT
The consultant will work for a period of 6 months with the possibility to extend for another 6 months upon available funding and delivered services.
The expected start date is July 2023.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The consultant / recruitment agency must meet the following specifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the HR consulting field mainly in recruitment and selection, preferably working in/with INGOs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, creative, detail-oriented, and well organized
- Strong coordination skills
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Fluency in English

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The Consultant shall always comply with the relevant internal laws and policies of HFHI.
- All reports and documents prepared during the assignment will be treated as confidential documents belonging to HFHI.
