Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are Bator Tabor (Camp of Courage), a regional Central European nonprofit organization, serving thousands of seriously ill children since 2001. In 2019, we reach 2200 children with our free recreational therapy programs in Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Hungary. We are based in Budapest, Hungary, and we are looking for an energetic, whole-hearted, hands-on general manager to lead our activities in Slovakia, Bratislava. The ideal candidate has proven experience with event and/or account and/or project management or sales.

Our campers referred to Bátor Tábor as a “parallel, nicer word”, “dream come true” or a “place where miracles happen.” We are a proud member of SeriousFun Children's Network and we offer much more than just a few days off the daily illness-fighting routine in hospitals.

Serious illness often isolates the child from their friends, disrupts the usual family life and damages the carefree childhood with fear and loss of self-confidence. Bátor Tábor is here to provide healing experiences that result in a long-lasting positive boost on child's self-evaluation, confidence, inner strength and courage to keep going and to keep fighting. All that packaged in a fun summer getaway in a medically safe environment where everything is possible and no disease impedes you from living your best life and have tons of laughter.

Will you join us in our mission?
