Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job description, responsibilities and duties:
Bátor Tábor Slovakia Foundation is looking for a well-organized, communicative and responsible person interested in working in an international non-profit organization helping to boost mental health of children living with serious illnesses in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary.

What would your job be?

Your main responsibility would be the organization of the foundation's biggest yearly charity event, Contemporary Art Auction, with occasional supporting tasks in cooperation with other departments (eg. marketing, volunteer recruitment, program team, etc.). You will be guided and supported by the Auction and Events team in Budapest, so you do not have to be familiar with event management or auction world, if you are willing to learn and react quickly :)

For most of the year, you will be the person coordinating all the auction-involved parties: artists, guests, the auction house, graphical designer, event agency, art deliveries, etc.

You will cover the communication with the artists, collect their submissions, coordinate the preparation of the auction catalogue, handle all the event administration (pepare and distribute the contracts, save-the-dates, invitations...).

You will be responsible for the evening show and performances (eg. invite our kids or volunteers as speakers, prepare the video material, timeline of the evening, etc.) Whenever possible, you will research and look for new partnerships and better deals (catering, venues, master of ceremony...).

During the auction “off season” you will assist other departments with various tasks depending on your own skills and preferences, eg. managing community of runners/sportsmen, translating necessary documents from English (or Hungarian) to Slovak (flyers, adverts, media packages, etc.), assisting at volunteer recruiting events, fundraising, administrative tasks...
