Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to help advance the capabilities, reliability, and usability of our internal engineering platform. In this role, you will work closely with product engineering teams to improve the way software is built, deployed, and operated across the organization.

You will contribute to the development of scalable platform services, infrastructure automation, and modern deployment practices that enable teams to deliver high-quality software more efficiently and securely.

At Multitude, our product engineering teams operate with a “you build it, you run it” mindset. The Platform Engineering team plays a critical role in supporting that model by providing shared tooling, reusable platform capabilities, and engineering standards that reduce complexity and improve consistency across teams.

Your Mission

As part of the Platform Engineering team, you will partner with product engineers to strengthen developer experience and improve the underlying platform that supports software delivery. You will help build and evolve reusable solutions, operational guardrails, and standardized engineering workflows that make secure and reliable delivery easier by default.

This role is well suited for an engineer who has hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD, and who is looking to continue growing in platform engineering within a collaborative, product-focused environment.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of internal platform capabilities used by engineering teams

  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code, automation tooling, and deployment workflows

  • Help improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes to support reliable, efficient software delivery

  • Partner with product teams to improve developer experience and reduce operational friction

  • Support platform reliability, scalability, and security through practical engineering solutions

  • Contribute to reusable golden paths, standards, and documentation that guide teams toward best practices

  • Work with modern software engineering practices, including trunk-based development, automated testing, and collaborative delivery models

Our Values

We value collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared platform ownership. We approach platform engineering with a product mindset, recognizing that the internal developer platform is a critical enabler of engineering effectiveness.

Our goal is to create a secure, scalable, and intuitive development environment that helps teams move quickly with confidence. We work closely across disciplines, prioritize practical solutions, and focus on delivering tools and services that make a meaningful difference for engineers.
