Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a strategic, delivery-oriented Senior Technical Program Manager to join the IT organization and lead cross-functional, cross-tribe initiatives that are critical to our business and technology roadmap. You will drive end-to-end project planning, execution, and risk management across multiple workstreams, teams, and stakeholders. You will also help improve project governance, reporting, and predictability in a scaling, fast-moving tech organization. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and bridging across product, engineering, compliance, and platform teams. You will bring structure, clarity, and delivery focus to our most critical technology efforts.
Your Focus:
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to align delivery plans with roadmap, capacity, and strategic priorities
- Ensure proactive, transparent, and executive-ready communication to stakeholders at all levels
- Define project scope, goals, breakdown structure of deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
- Identify and communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinate kick-offs, steering meetings and retrospectives
- Drive cross-team alignment by facilitating dependency planning and clear ownership across tribes
- Define and improve project governance models, steering formats, and reporting dashboards
- Monitor project progress, track and report on KPIs, timelines, budgets, and resource usage
- Champion continuous delivery best practices in complex environments (build/run teams, regulatory contexts)
- Manage external vendors, ensuring alignment with internal timelines, standards, and budget
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and lessons learned

- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational, coordination and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed, agile organization
- Ability to structure complex objectives, think logically, identify and frame risks and focus on priorities
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to strategy and outcomes
- Stress resilience, ability to generate momentum and drive results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong grasp of both traditional and agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban,, Prince2), and the judgment to tailor approaches based on context
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, and ability to define reporting dashboards and build status updates for senior stakeholders
- Experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional technical projects in a software product organization
- Familiarity with DevOps, infrastructure, compliance, and platform workstreams is a plus
- Experience working with senior engineering and business leadership
- Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., fintech, healthtech, banking) is an advantage
