​Multitude Group IT is looking for an Application Support Engineering Internship located in Bratislava. Join us in shaping the future of digital banking! We are eager to welcome a technically adept individual driven by a passion for learning, and we are committed to guiding them in discovering their true calling. Regardless of your current path and limited exposure to multiple IT domains, you have the opportunity to shape your identity as an application support engineer. ​

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex business process incidents related to technical and process issues.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.
  • Assist in the analysis and resolution of technical issues and challenges.
  • Set up and optimize application and process monitoring using appropriate tools to proactively prevent production issues.
  • Participate in root cause analyses and contribute to the problem management process to enhance system stability.
  • Contribute to the development of software specifications and requirements.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance technical skills.
  • Work closely with team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and project managers.
  • Take ownership of critical production incidents, coordinating effectively with Business, Backoffice, and Development teams.
  • Document and present findings, solutions, and improvements to the team.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Economy or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for analysing, problem solving and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Understanding of the IT development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • SQL knowledge, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries and perform data analysis.
  • Expertise in RabbitMQ and Kafka is an advantage
  • Familiarity with APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a frequently changing, dynamic environment.
