For Collections, we are looking for aSenior Data Analystto join our team. The Senior Data Analystrole involves creating reports, leading data processes, and collaborating cross-functionally.You’ll be part of a dynamic team working to optimize collections strategies and drive financial success. Your analytical skills will directly impact our organization’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to collect, analyze, interpret, and analyze numerical and statistical data related to collections performance, delinquency trends, and customer behavior.
  • Identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for improvement in collections strategies.
  • Create insightful reports and visualizations to communicate findings to various departments.
  • Leverage tools such as SAS, SQL, and possibly other big data/cloud solutions for automation.
  • Lead end-to-end data processes, including sourcing, importing, cleaning, transforming, and modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine collections strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing contact strategies, repayment plans, and recovery workflows.
  • Advise on opportunities to leverage reference data and vendor capabilities.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed standards and timelines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in collections analytics.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as recovery rates, cure rates, and aging metrics.
  • Develop visualizations that communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.

Personality requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analysis role, with a focus on collections or credit risk management preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages used for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
