Job description, responsibilities and duties
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry (preferably organic chemistry, biochemistry) with at least 1 year of experience in a commercial lab or a master’s degree in chemistry (preferably organic chemistry, biochemistry) with no extra experience. Training will be provided on the job. Motivation to work in a laboratory environment and interest in solid-phase synthesis are highly welcome.
In addition:
- You have strong technical and analytical skills.
- You are detail-oriented and can work under minimal supervision.
- You can prioritize multiple tasks.
- You pay high attention to safety and procedures.
- You possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- You can communicate freely in English.
Duties:
Synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, and QC sampling of oligonucleotides produced for internal R&D purposes as well as for commercial orders. Packaging & shipment of produced goods. Basic maintenance & troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
In addition:
