In this position you will be the responsible, within MEU CS&L, for the financial tracking and business decision support for Copacking plans and costs as well as for the integrity and optimization of E2E Waste. You will deliver detailed business plans within set targets and monitor the execution and/or adaptation of those steps acting as a business partner of the Central Tower team and collaborating closely with the Area CS&L controlling, FP&A and waste leads.
You will give visibility to the business performance and drivers, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of Actuals reporting, driving the planning process and managing circa $250MM costs, and a contribution to productivity agenda between $5-10MM annually.

Within the CS&L Finance department, the position is essential to ensure that Copacking and waste Financial processes are managed efficiently and in a timely manner, you will manage the planning timetable and act as a catalyst for process improvement and harmonization within MEU.

The primary role is to create insights that drive value and productivity improvements in the Areas, closely monitoring the business performance to ensure cost targets are met, give visibility to issues and escalate quickly when needed.

How you will contribute

In this role you will:
  • own and control CS&L Waste and Copacking cost and processes in collaboration with your business partners
  • manage financial planning and performance management team/activities and related financial decisions including strategic plan and annual contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support; ensure alignment across Areas and Categories and provide best in class performance reporting to all stakeholders for waste and co-packing
  • dialogue actual performance with towers, Areas CS&L and ISC Finance teams, connect the dots to provide insights on the P&L performance and complete financial bridges, consolidations at MEU level and presentations to CMELT accurately on-time and in full
  • challenge the Areas/Towers/Categories on their performance, give visibility and complete understanding of the financial performance, identifying mitigation plans and opportunities to improve results
  • Drive for harmonization, process efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and build a mindset of continuous improvement
  • leverage new digitalization i.e. Tableau reporting to increase business partners visibility on the financial performance and direct ownership
  • provide ideas, financial governance and support to strategic projects.

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data collection and structuring, analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market dynamics. Relevant experience in a regional/local business
