You support system activities in a specific process area, including analysis, design, and overseeing the implementation of system changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency aligned with corporate strategies.

How you will contribute

Working in a cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with global and regional teams to optimize SAP and integrated non-SAP systems and processes, translating business needs into functional requirements. You will define what the capability must achieve and how success will be measured and ensure that solutions are robust, strategically aligned and efficient to deliver and maintain. To succeed in this role, you must understand integration points in an integrated ERP system (i.e. SAP ECC), standalone, SAAS, and control systems and effectively interact with senior management from business and technology disciplines to keep them informed and to present highly complex solutions.

We seek a dynamic, technology savvy and commercially oriented data professional with a strong track record leading the design and implementation of successful data gathering, creation and orchestration solutions at the global level in a multi-national business. S/he will be familiar with SAP Master Data technologies and industry standard iBPM/Orchestration tools.

The Global Solution Owner, Master Data Creation & Orchestration is a member of the Data Management Transformation Team, focusing on creation and orchestration of master data required to ensure smooth e2e business operations, and data syndication with external customers. Master data included in scope of this job is: Product, Material, Customer, Vendor, Hierarchies and Locations. S/he is responsible to select, design and deliver multiple, parallel projects that result in significant efficiencies for business and IBS partners, and improved quality of data. The projects will transform processes, technology, and the organization to collect, validate, automate and store master data across systems of record. The successful candidate will directly supervise a team of 4+ people and collaborate closely with the Mondelēz resources related to Enterprise data solutions architecture and technology. S/he will have the responsibility to frame the value and have final say on the sequence of projects to be implemented.

Responsibilities
  • Builds subject matter expertise in data gathering, creation and validation processes for master data domains, ensures documentation is in place, and educates others
  • Creates a recommendation of how to bring business value with data creation and orchestration solutions, through digitization of cross functional work processes around master data
  • Responsible for the implementation & management of digital process transformation strategy & roadmap, and technology capabilities (SAP MDG, SAP MDM, PEGA) focused on master data
  • Ensures the solutions are fit for purpose for Mondelez business partners and IBS data operations teams, and are adopted to its fullest potential across markets
  • Defines strategy and roles & responsibilities behind BPO role in a new transformed process, in partnership with Operations teams and vendors.
  • Partners with the Global Solution Owner for Product Aggregation and Syndication to improve data quality and simplify e2e data flow
  • Ensures that "Right first time data quality" concept is included in all newly build processes/solutions. Sufficient data quality validations are needed in data collection and creation tools to minimize data quality errors. This includes rule based and machine learning based validations & derivations.
  • Manages vendors engagement and contracts
  • Builds API enabled integrations into the design of new solutions, or into integration modernization projects
  • Owns TCO and architecture of data creation and orchestration solutions. Defines and implements strategy with regards to legacy systems (e.g. SAP MDM)
  • As part of the Portfolio, ensures robust & sustainable Data solutions which drive value (i.e. Application rationalization, process harmonization and innovation) in conjunction with business needs.
  • Controls costs by ensuring transparency of costs and total cost of ownership as new projects are implemented.
  • Self-educates by gathering information and learnings from peer companies, conferences and events to develop strategic solution roadmap for the Data Management area, taking emerging needs into account so a long-range plan and funding proposition can be worked out to be ready for future Data trends and challenges
  • Promotes new and better ways of delivering solutions, specifically builds DevOps capability in his/her team
  • Ensures that the data creation and orchestration roadmap fully supports Data Management transformation objectives
