The Area Master Data team is responsible for the timely availability and ongoing quality of master data in order to support all relevant transactions and processes and also ensures that data shared with our business functions/production sites.

As the DMS Business Partner your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
  • Track and monitor data creation, data changes and the ongoing quality of master data to gold model and industry standards
  • Collaborate closely with data stakeholders and maintainers across the area in order to monitor, report and maintain the quality of data at all times and support local and regional projects
  • Key user for specified data processes and delivering training, testing and maintaining documentation for these processes for the area and for the entire MEU data community
  • Workflow (WF) and Data collection sheets (DCF) elaboration in close cooperation with other departments (especially PCM, Sales, Finance)
  • Timely Maintenance of local master data records according to local country procedures
  • Work collaboratively with functional data maintainers to maintain and improve DQ scores
  • Participate in I2M project meetings as key point of contact for Master Data for all categories/countries
  • Cross Regional collaboration, especially in terms of Regional and Global Governance and Reference Group meetings participation and audit control reports collating
  • Support and provide cover for team colleagues in order to ensure a balanced workload at all times with no gaps in service
  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement projects in data quality and data processes
  • For this temporary assignment: support the actual DMS Business Partner in an important integration project that requires excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills together with the ability to motivate and evoke enthusiasm about master data
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and make appropriate decision based on priority setting and success criteria
  • Good knowledge of key systems and tools used in supply chain data (Excel, preferably SAP ECC)
  • Experience in working in an international and central/country/category matrix environment while maintaining customer focus, project knowledge preferred
  • Fluency in English
  • University degree preferred

This role is open for limited contract for one year, with potential extension.
