Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

Master Data Specialist

Working within wider transport function, you will be responsible for master data relating to transportation management system that is needed in order to run the daily transport operation smoothly and to pay suppliers correctly.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of master data and transport management system
  • Review of master data requests, creation of new vendor and employee accounts, and cooperation with teams supporting those activities
  • Support transportation service providers tenders, including integration of new service providers, contracts, prices, and commercial terms
  • Project support on planned transport department extensions, including new lane requests, price and vendor related master data queries
  • Support of Freight Billing team for Master Data maintenance
  • Act as a primary point of contact to resolve issues and provide analysis related to master data in order to solve problems
  • Proactively engage in continuous improvement process for master data
  • Prepare transport reports and record sheets on a weekly basis
  • Preparation of monthly transport costs calculation

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

In order to be successful we need you to have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in data administration
  • Microsoft Office advanced, in particular Excel
  • Strong problem solving attitude combined with analytical skills and strong communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • SAP knowledge is an asset
  • Knowledge of German will be an advantage
